Graduated in Architecture and Master in Visual Arts, both from the University of Brasilia. Between 2013 and 2014, she lived in Berlin and exhibited at Nassauischer Kunstverein in Wiesbaden, at the Pavilion at Milchhof, Berlin, and at Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden (Technical Faculty in Visual Arts in Dresden). In 2020, received the National Exhibition Award from TCU in Brasília. Started the Artistic Residency at Pivô in São Paulo. In 2019, she shared an international group exhibition at Fundación Klemm, Buenos Aires, and was selected for the 24th Salão Anapolino, GO. In 2016, she was awarded the Salão Mestre D’armas award from Planaltina, DF, and was a finalist in the Transbordada Caixa Cultural de Brasília Award. Received the FUNARTE National Award for Contemporary Art, 2015. Presented solo exhibition at Zipper, SP (2017) and Galeria Referência, Brasília (2018). The artist provokes new concepts of sculpture from materials such as glass, earth, concrete, including digital technologies and, sometimes, the interaction with living bodies. It elaborates phenomena of autonomous objects in the face of disintegrating contexts that confabulate different temporalities intended in a given space and that seek, with each work, to detach themselves from mimesis and propose a new “becoming”.

“I work with installations and sculptures made with materials such as earth, concrete, ceramics, glass, metals, plants and digital technology. My process starts from the construction of geometric objects arranged in space in structures of tension and balance. Chemical or biological elements that interfere or may interact with these structures are added, in order to cause interactions and modifications, whether in weight, physical state, volume. I propose sculptures that have a life of their own and change slowly and continuously, transforming themselves into other, unpredictable forms. I am interested in dissolving the material and symbolic boundaries of things; provoke the observer to experience time as a continuous flow, inseparable from the past, present and future and bring me closer to what I call Bioesculture. “
